Your Mom Cares (#ymc) is a movement of mothers committed to providing children with basic needs across the United States.
#ymc began in 2014 when the mothers of Jonah Hill, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys came together to advocate for children in a public service announcement about access to health care. Today #ymc has turned into a powerful movement, uniting the mothers of influencers in the arts, pop culture, social media, sports, and sciences. Together our ability to draw attention to various charities has immeasurable power to serve our country’s most needy children.
#ymc is focusing our efforts on the issue of health care by partnering with Children’s Health Fund.
Children’s Health Fund is committed to delivering high quality health care to America’s most disadvantaged children. Children’s Health Fund was founded in 1987 by singer/songwriter Paul Simon, pediatrician Dr. Irwin Redlener and program designer Karen Redlener, Children’s Health Fund response to the desperate conditions they witnessed at a shelter for homeless families in New York City. That year saw the launch of the first “big blue bus”– a specially designed pediatric mobile medical clinic equipped with an examining room, waiting area, nurse’s station and lab. Over the next 30 years, Children’s Health Fund would grow into a National Network with a fleet of 53 clinics working in 14 states and the District of Columbia, delivering primary and preventive care to children where they live and where they learn.

#ymc is a volunteer-run organization. All donations will support these efforts in our boots-on-the-ground collaboration with Children’s Health Fund. As #ymc continues to expand in scope, our goal is to work with and advocate for hunger organizations, homelessness efforts, and educational projects across the country.
